Parking in Greece 101

Narrow street? No parking spot? No problem.

Step 1. Just stop your car, parking at least one other car in, and hey presto! What was previously the driving lane has now become a second row of parking. This can sometimes be a bit of a surprise to the person driving behind you and they may provide some instant feedback. 

Step 2. Go and have your coffee. Maybe leave your hazard lights on if you want to be overly polite about the whole thing. 

Step 3. When parked-in car wants to exit, they will just lean on the horn until you hear it and return to move your car. 

Step 4. Move your car marginally to allow that driver to escape, but park in another car. Return to your coffee. 

Repeat Steps 3 and 4 as required.
