Place de la République
This square, just 2 minutes from my hotel was always a hive of activity. Skateboarders everywhere, perhaps a demonstration or two and of course the entrance to Republique metro. It is surrounded by cafes and restaurants and was a great place to wander for a bit of people watching. On the Sunday, there was some sort of children's/family day, with lots of crafts and games being used by lots of families. Lovely.
I love going there too because you see a mix of vibrant cultures. What I didn’t like this trip to Ireland was (amongst other things) the lack of ethnic mix and therefore diversity.
