Dubai Lounge
I had a stopover of around 2 hours and got to experience the Emirates First Class lounge. It is massive. The entire floor is "lounge" as far as the eye can see in these pictures. Lots of different food stations, International, Japanese, Desserts and Cheese! Even when I plonked down in one of the lounge chairs seemingly not in a service area, I was immediately asked if I wanted to order a drink.
I was in a bit of a sleep deprived state, wandering past the various cuisines, trying to decide what I wanted and therefore where I should sit. A kindly waitress took pity on me and just sat me down and then of course it dawned on me, sit anywhere and order anything.
A basket of fresh pastries was brought to the table with my menu. It alone would have been sufficient, however I finally felt like eating something more substantial and Eggs Florentine was just the ticket.

I realised afterwards I could of course have ordered from the lunch menu as well, but that might have been too many options in my delicate state. I did manage to decide on an Espresso Martini though. Most of the other diners were gaily supping on Moet and I had to keep reminding myself there would be no bill to pay at the end of the meal.

The First Class lounge ( I think we went to 2 back in those distant days when I was Premium Class) is superb, but alas, the other times we had to take the left turn (which is still good)
